Slipstitch Studios
Project ‘Bluedo’ Art Direction

Acted as Slipstitch Studios Art Director on their debut, unreleased project codenamed ‘bluedo’. Responsibilities included managing an art team of 4-5 remote work contractors, environment illustrations, and delivering high quality 2D visuals in Unreal Engine for prototypes and publisher presentations. Defined the visual aesthetic which was noted by grant bodies when funding was awarded to the project for further development. Created and developed a 2D Spine2D animation pipeline for game characters, including rigging, which allowed tech artists to elevate the project beyond what is expected of a visual novel. Created pitch documents and supporting work which enabled the project to be successful in VicScreen funding rounds.

Pictured here are illustrated, fully modular environments completed for the project, these were later handed to our exceptional technical artist for VFX.
